By purchasing tickets, joining memberships, attending events, participating in community spaces, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Please read these terms carefully before booking or participating in any Surrey Girls Socials activities.

Surrey Girls Socials is a women-only social community and events business operating across Surrey and the surrounding areas.

We aim to provide welcoming, supportive, and inclusive social opportunities for women aged 18 years and over.

All attendees and members must be aged 18 years or over.

We may request valid identification at events or venues where alcohol is served.

Surrey Girls Socials reserves the right to refuse entry where age requirements are not met.

A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and confirmation has been issued.

All ticket prices, membership fees, and event information will be displayed at the time of booking.

Surrey Girls Socials reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings where:

• payment has not been received;
• payment has been reversed or disputed; or
• false or misleading information has been provided.

Tickets are generally non-refundable unless:

• an event is cancelled by Surrey Girls Socials; or
• a refund is required under applicable consumer law.

As a small independent business, we often pay event costs, venue bookings, materials, and supplier arrangements in advance.

For this reason, refunds are generally not offered for:

• non-attendance;
• change of mind; or
• personal circumstances preventing attendance.

Where possible, tickets may be transferable to another individual if we are notified in advance.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, purchases for leisure activities or events provided on a specific date are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period.

Nothing within these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Surrey Girls Socials reserves the right to:

• reschedule events;
• change venues;
• alter activities;
• modify event timings; or
• cancel events where necessary.

Where an event is cancelled by Surrey Girls Socials, attendees may be offered:

• a refund; or
• the option to transfer to a rescheduled event where appropriate.

We are not responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

• severe weather;
• transport disruption;
• venue closure;
• public health emergencies; or
• other unforeseen circumstances.

Surrey Girls Socials may offer memberships, including access to:

• community group chats;
• event calendars;
• notifications;
• online platforms; and
• member-only features.

Membership benefits, pricing, and features may change over time.

Memberships are personal to the individual and must not be shared or transferred without permission.

Surrey Girls Socials reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships where members breach these Terms & Conditions or behave inappropriately within the community.

Surrey Girls Socials aims to provide a safe, respectful, welcoming, and inclusive environment both online and at events.

Members and attendees are expected to communicate and behave respectfully towards:

• other members;
• attendees;
• organisers;
• venue staff; and
• members of the public.

The following behaviour may result in removal from events, suspension of membership, or refusal of future attendance without refund:

• bullying;
• harassment;
• discrimination;
• abusive behaviour;
• threatening behaviour;
• inappropriate conduct;
• unsafe behaviour; or
• excessive intoxication.

Where community chats or online platforms are provided, members acknowledge that:

• messages and interactions may be visible to other members;
• Surrey Girls Socials cannot guarantee uninterrupted platform availability; and
• members are responsible for their own communications and conduct.

Surrey Girls Socials reserves the right to remove content or members from community spaces where necessary.

Some events may take place at licensed venues where alcohol is available.

Attendees are expected to drink responsibly and comply with all venue rules, licensing conditions, and applicable laws.

Surrey Girls Socials accepts no responsibility for incidents arising from excessive alcohol consumption or failure to comply with venue policies.

Attendees are responsible for:

• acting responsibly;
• following venue safety procedures;
• complying with emergency instructions; and
• raising any immediate safety concerns with organisers during events.

Attendance at events is at your own discretion and risk.

While Surrey Girls Socials takes reasonable steps to support attendee safety and enjoyment, we are not liable for:

• loss or damage to personal belongings;
• actions of third-party venues or providers;
• disruptions outside of our control; or
• interactions or relationships formed between attendees or members.

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by negligence;
• fraud; or
• any liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Photographs and videos may be taken during events for promotional and marketing purposes.

By attending events, you acknowledge that photography or filming may take place.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please notify us before the event, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

Surrey Girls Socials is not responsible for content shared by attendees or third parties independently.

Surrey Girls Socials handles personal information in accordance with:

• the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR); and
• The Data Protection Act 2018.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information regarding how your information is collected, used, and stored.

We aim to make our events welcoming and inclusive.

If you require reasonable adjustments or have accessibility requirements, please get in touch with us before the event, and we will make reasonable efforts to support your attendance where possible.

Surrey Girls Socials reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions where necessary.

Updated versions will be published on our website where appropriate.

The laws of England and Wales govern these Terms & Conditions.

Any disputes arising in relation to Surrey Girls Socials shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
