By attending events, joining a membership, participating in group chats, or interacting within the Surrey Girls Socials community spaces, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines.

• positive community behaviour.

We want Surrey Girls Socials to remain a welcoming environment where women can socialise, build friendships, and feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgement, hostility, or exclusion.

All members and attendees are expected to:

• treat others with kindness and respect;
• communicate appropriately and respectfully;
• respect personal boundaries;
• support a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere; and
• behave responsibly both online and at events.

We understand that disagreements can happen, but we will not tolerate aggressive, hostile, or harmful behaviour.

The following behaviour may result in warnings, removal from events, suspension of membership, or permanent removal from Surrey Girls Socials community spaces:

• bullying or harassment;
• discrimination or hate speech;
• abusive, threatening, or intimidating behaviour;
• inappropriate sexual comments or conduct;
• persistent negativity or disruptive behaviour;
• sharing private information about others without permission;
• excessive intoxication at events;
• unsafe or inappropriate conduct;
• spamming, advertising, or promoting unrelated businesses without permission; or
• behaviour that negatively impacts the well-being or safety of others.

Where online community platforms or group chats are provided, members are expected to:

• communicate respectfully;
• avoid arguments or hostile discussions;
• respect differing opinions;
• avoid excessive negativity or gossip; and
• maintain appropriate boundaries with other members.

Surrey Girls Socials reserves the right to remove messages, restrict access, or remove members from online spaces where behaviour is considered inappropriate or harmful to the community.

Members acknowledge that:

• group chats may contain conversations between other members.
• online platforms cannot guarantee complete privacy or uninterrupted access; and
• they are responsible for their own interactions and communications.

Surrey Girls Socials welcomes women from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, ages, and lifestyles.

We aim to create a positive environment where members feel:

• included;
• respected;
• supported; and
• comfortable attending events at their own pace.

Many members may attend events alone or feel nervous initially, and we encourage patience, kindness, and understanding towards one another.

Attendees are expected to:

• follow venue rules and safety instructions;
• behave responsibly;
• drink responsibly where alcohol is present; and
• raise any immediate concerns with organisers where appropriate.

Surrey Girls Socials reserves the right to refuse entry or remove attendees whose behaviour is considered unsafe, inappropriate, abusive, or excessively disruptive.

Members should respect the privacy of others within the community.

Please do not:

• share personal information about other members without consent;
• screenshot or share private conversations without permission; or
• post photographs or videos of others without consideration for their privacy preferences.

Access to memberships, group chats, or community platforms may be suspended or removed where these Community Guidelines are breached.

Surrey Girls Socials reserves the right to make decisions regarding community safety, behaviour expectations, and suitability for continued participation within the community.
